Salvador Dalí, (Born: May 11, 1904 in Figueres, Spain - Died: January 23, 1989) was a Spanish surrealist artist known for his technical skill, unusual style, and exploration of subconscious imagery. 

Salvador Dalí is famous for his Surrealist art, known for its bizarre and dreamlike imagery, as well as his own eccentric personality and flamboyant public persona. His most iconic and famous painting is The Persistence of Memory, which features the famous "melting clocks". He worked across various media, including painting, sculpture, film, and printmaking, and was influenced by Freudian psychology and classical art.
